Game voting app for groups
Your group chat has been going back and forth for 20 minutes. Someone wants Lethal Company. Someone else wants Fortnite. A third person just keeps saying "idk whatever." PickThe.Games ends the debate in 2 minutes.
How it works
One person creates a board and shares a link. Everyone opens it on their phone or computer, picks their platforms (PC, PS5, Xbox, Switch), and starts swiping through games.
Each game card shows the cover, description, platforms, genre, and player count. Swipe right for yes, left for no, up for maybe. If someone genuinely hates a game, they ban it and it's removed from the group's results entirely. No arguments.
After everyone swipes, the results page ranks games by group compatibility. It factors in how many people voted yes, whether everyone has the right platform, and whether crossplay works between the platforms in your group. The games everyone agreed on float to the top.
Why voting beats arguing
Everyone gets equal say
Voting is anonymous. The person who always dominates the conversation gets the same weight as the quiet person who never speaks up. The group actually decides together instead of one person deciding for everyone.
Platform issues handled automatically
No more discovering halfway through the conversation that someone can't play the game. Everyone picks their platforms upfront and the app only shows games that work for the group's mix of hardware.
The veto is built in
If someone really doesn't want to play something, they ban it. Done. No passive-aggressive "fine, whatever" moments. The group respects the veto because it's part of the system.
You discover games you forgot about
Instead of pulling from the same 5 games your group always suggests, you swipe through a feed of games you might not have considered. Most groups find at least one game nobody had thought of.
Works everywhere
Frequently asked questions
Is there an app where groups can vote on games?
Yes. PickThe.Games is a free game voting app. Everyone swipes through games, the app checks platforms and crossplay, and shows what the group agrees on.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in your browser. There's also a Discord bot if your group uses Discord.
Is the voting anonymous?
Yes. Everyone swipes independently. Nobody sees individual votes, only the final ranked results.
How many games are in the database?
Over 6,100 games across PC, PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Both multiplayer and single player titles, with crossplay data for every platform combination.
