New: Streamer Mode - Let Your Audience Pick What You Play

June 4, 2026by PickThe.Games

Your chat can finally decide

We built PickThe.Games to help gaming groups pick a game together. But we kept hearing the same request from streamers: "Can my viewers vote on what I play next?"

Now they can.

How Streamer Mode works

When you create a board, flip the new Streamer Mode toggle. You'll get a shareable link that anyone can use to vote -no account, no signup, no friction.

Your viewers open the link, swipe through games (yes, maybe, or no), and you see the results update in real time. The most-voted game floats to the top. Pick it and start playing.

For voters (your audience)

  • Click the link the streamer shares
  • Swipe through game cards: Yes, Maybe, or No
  • No account needed. No email. Nothing to install.
  • When you're done, tap "Live Results" to see what's winning

For streamers

  • Create a board and toggle Streamer Mode
  • Choose game types: All Games, Single Player, or Multiplayer
  • Share the voting link in chat or put the QR code on screen
  • Open the Live Results page as an OBS browser source
  • Hit Reset Round to start fresh anytime

Single player games are here

Streamer Mode also introduces single player games to PickThe.Games. When creating a streamer board, you can filter by:

  • All Games -both single player and multiplayer titles
  • Single Player -solo campaign and story games
  • Multiplayer -co-op, PvP, and party games (what we've always had)

Our game database now includes thousands of rated single player titles alongside the multiplayer games you already know. Every game includes platform availability, ratings, genres, and release dates.

Live results for OBS

The live results page auto-refreshes every 5 seconds and uses a dark background that fits any stream layout. Add it as a browser source in OBS:

1. Copy the Live Results URL from your board

2. In OBS, add a Browser Source

3. Paste the URL

4. For a transparent background, add ?transparent=1 to the URL

The page shows a ranked leaderboard with vote counts and progress bars. As more viewers vote, the rankings shift in real time.

Anti-troll design

We removed the Ban vote option from Streamer Mode to prevent griefing. Votes are rate-limited per IP address, and the streamer can reset the round anytime if something looks off.

Try it now

Streamer Mode is free, like everything else on PickThe.Games. Create an account, make a board, toggle Streamer Mode, and share the link.

What's next

We're looking at Twitch extension integration, chat command triggers, and subscriber-only voting. If you're a streamer using this, we'd love your feedback at pickthe.games/contact.
