The scheduling problem

Friday night for you is Saturday morning for your friend in Asia. Your European friend is already asleep by the time your west coast friend gets off work. Finding a time everyone can play is harder than finding a game everyone wants to play.

Find the overlap window

Every timezone group has a window where everyone is awake and available. It's usually 1-3 hours wide. For a typical US East + US West + Europe group, that window is usually Saturday/Sunday afternoon Eastern (morning Pacific, evening Europe).
